SHANE MICHAEL FELL was last seen 06/10/11 between 12:30-12:45am at the intersection of River Road and Barataria Boulevard in Marrero, Louisiana.1 He was 36 at the time of his disappearance.
A Gretna native living in Harvey, he was a Senior Technical Writer with VeriFone. He studied metalwork and jewelry at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He’d recently returned to the New Orleans area after spending several years in Savannah, Georgia.2
CIRCUMSTANCES OF DISAPPEARANCE
Shane was headed home after playing pool with some friends and his brother Brett when he crashed at the intersection of River Road and Barataria Boulevard.3 He lost control of his dark blue/green Saturn, it flipped at least once and came to rest upside down in a ditch. One of his shoes was found by the vehicle.4
Immediately following the accident he called his brother and was coherent. His brother and authorities were on the scene within 30 minutes, but he was no longer at the site.5 Family believe he exited through a window and may have sustained injuries.6 His mother Terrie Fell says “He’s just lost…he hit his head and doesn’t remember who he is or where he is.”3
