Submit A Case

Please review the Criteria for Inclusion before submitting a case.

Sleuth & Justice welcomes submissions of Louisiana homicides that have remained unsolved for at least five years. Submissions from victims’ families and law enforcement are given priority.

Case Research & Profiles

Researching and documenting these cases is a labor of love for me. Sleuth & Justice is independently researched and maintained, and because each case can require significant research and verification, profiles may take time to complete. I strive to research each case thoroughly and present the victim and circumstances in a compassionate, factual manner. Relevant criminal history or other sensitive information may be included when it could reasonably relate to the circumstances or a possible motive for the homicide.

Family members are welcome to provide photographs, personal recollections, corrections, or additional information for an existing profile. I do not initiate contact with victims’ families; however, I welcome correspondence from family members who choose to reach out.

Case profiles are published on Sleuth & Justice and may also be shared on various social media platforms. Primary and secondary sources, including subscription databases when applicable, are identified in the Sources section of each profile.

Potential Evidence

If my research uncovers information that may have evidentiary value, it’s immediately provided to the appropriate law enforcement agency. Specifics that could compromise an investigation will not be published in the case profile.

Missing Persons

Sleuth & Justice is currently focused on unsolved homicides and is not accepting new missing-person case submissions. Existing missing-person profiles will remain available.See the Charley Project or the Doe Network, both high-traffic sites dedicated to missing persons.

Investigations

Although I’m a licensed private investigator, I do not work directly for the public. Submission of your case material doesn’t create or imply a client-investigator relationship.  If you’re seeking an in-depth investigation rather than a case summary, I’ll be glad to refer you to a licensed agency that can assist.
